Glutino GF Chocolate-Covered Pretzels
So I was out shopping at my favorite health food store on Friday and walked past the GF pretzels. To what did my wandering eyes appeared a special new chocolate sensation, and it was even on sale for three bucks and some change!
The new Gluten Free Chocolate-Covered Pretzels are a dream come true for people like me that crave sweet and salty snacks to tantalize their taste buds. They were every bit as delicious as I remember Nestle Flipz being. I use to snack on Flipz while studying in college. There is just something about the saltiness of the pretzel combined by the sweetness of the chocolate that makes this snack food one of my most craved culinary comforts. Still nowhere near as good as the chocolate covered pretzels my mom makes for Christmas that are covered in sprinkles, but still pretty darn good for coming out of a bag.
If you have multiple allergies, they do unfortunately contain soy and milk. They might also contain traces of peanuts, tree nuts and sesame. Even though I have been avoiding soy lecithin since I had a horrible reaction to Nutella, I couldn’t resist these tasty morsels. Surprisingly I only ended up with a mild headache and runny nose. Maybe it was the hazelnuts that I had such a horrible reaction to from eating Nutella back in June.
If you can tolerate soy, milk and nuts I highly recommend this new scrumptious treat. Even if you can’t find them on sale, I think they are worth the $5.99 price tag. Yummy!
